Looks like Don’s going to need a complete guitar arsenal during the BMW Charity Pro-Am golf week coming up May 19-22.

In addition to his previously scheduled Evening at the Hotel California show in Barnet Park in Spartanburg on Saturday, May 21, he will also perform a show with his band on Thursday, May 19, and solo as part of the Celebrity Jam on Friday, May 20. Both shows will be at the Peace Center Amphitheater in downtown Greenville.

Don will headline this year’s Mid America Motorworks’ Annual Corvette Funfest scheduled for September 16-18 in Effingham, IL, located between Indianapolis and St. Louis.

As Don would say, you can hedge your bet on thousands of clean Corvettes at this mega car show. According to Mid-America, an estimated 45,000 enthusiasts from all over the world are expected to gather and share their love for all things Corvette. Previous entertainment headliners have included The Beach Boys, REO Speedwagon and Three Dog Night.

The event is public, however, visitors need to register for individual event packages. The basic package which includes two passes for Don’s show on Saturday evening starts at $25. Registration details here.

Don returns to the BMW Charity Pro-Am this year, which takes place among three courses situated on the North/South Carolina border. The event, scheduled for May 19-22, pits a field of golf-addicted celebrities teamed up with “real folks” and professionals from the Nationwide Tour. The tournament is also broadcast by the Golf Channel.

Don will have to struggle with excess baggage this year since he will have to tote both his golf clubs AND his guitars from one coast to the other, plus arrange an early tee time on Saturday, May 21. That evening he’ll perform a special concert in Spartanburg’s Barnet Park beginning at 7:00 pm. Not only are tickets available to the general public, the event also offers a VIP package with an opportunity to socialize with Don. Most importantly, proceeds from the concert benefit various charities supported by BMW and the community.

Don will appear at this year’s Minnesota State Fair, with two dates planned for Monday, August 29th and Tuesday, August 30th at the Fairgrounds in St. Paul.
