Don kicked off his three-show series in Western Canada last night in Calgary. He moves on to Edmonton for a show tonight at the Francis Winspear Centre. If you attended last night’s show (or for that matter, plan to attend tomorrow’s performance in Edmonton), we welcome fan feedback, reviews and photos.
A couple of very short clips from last night’s show are on YouTube here and here.
Procrastinators in Edmonton really ought to high tail it over to the venue page to purchase last minute tickets.
Earlier today, Don chatted with Russell Bowers on CBC Radio One about his favorite Canadian golf courses, how he himself finds therapy in music and this weekend’s ten year anniversary of his separation from the Eagles.
Their conversation is now online on Daybreak Alberta.
Don will be back on the celebrity golf circuit playing in the Pro-Am at the 2011 Kraft Nabisco Golf Championship (formerly Dinah Shore) which takes place in Rancho Mirage, California, from March 28-April 3. The Championship is part of the LPGA tour. Over one-hundred of the top female professional golfers are expected to compete.
For information about this year’s 40th Kraft Nabisco Championship and how you can get involved check their tournament website.
Don (a.k.a. “Chinook,”) has been on a promotional stampede through the Canadian province of Alberta over the past 72 hours. When the dust finally settles, he’ll do shows in Calgary (Sunday) and Edmonton (Monday.)
Yesterday evening he visited Rob Breakenridge at the AM770 CHQR studios. The time-zone-friendly station website posted the podcast straight away, which is great if you want to listen to the interview at your leisure.
Our favorite early riser was on Edmonton’s Breakfast Television this morning promoting Monday evening’s show.
The program has posted a few behind the scenes photos of Don with the host on their Facebook page.
