Previous radio shows 2005-2007:
In November 2006, Don gave a extended telephone interview with the jocks from radio station K-ROCK in Edmonton. In between some classic Eagles cuts, Don recalls some interesting moments in Eagles’ history and reveals what he’s got in store for 2007. Here the voice parts edited into 6-8 minute clips:
In his January 2006 interview with Tony Scott on ROCKLINE radio, Don fielded questions covering everything from the Heavy Metal soundtrack to the Eagles’ boycotting the Grammy awards.
Despite some technical problems, we were able to record some snippets of the broadcast and have edited parts of it into the clips below.
What we heard coming through was an honesty and modesty in his recollections. We’re sorry, too, that he wasn’t there to accept his Grammy for Hotel California as album of the year, for whatever reasons. And despite the movie, “Heavy Metal” has some great guitar, Don!
