Read Don's book of inspiration, monumental success, drug-induced infighting, and heart-breaking callousness from the two "Gods", Henley and Frey. As a rabid Eagles fan from the early days, I found this book impossible to put down. At the same time, I was deeply disappointed by the greed and arrogance of the soulless homophobes Don Henley and Glen Frey.

I view the song "Hotel California" as one of the two absolute best Rock songs ever created, and to know that Don Felder was the genius behind the music is awe-inspiring. I have always loved Rock songs driven by great guitar work, such as "Already Gone", but the guitar work in "Hotel California" is nothing short of legendary. My deep thanks to Don Felder for his body of work - it has added an element of joy for both my wife and I over the past 30 years.

By the way, not only do my three children love Don's work, but my 12 year old grandson is a huge fan. He plays both drum and guitar, and he's next in line in our family to get Don's book. We have little doubt he will be inspired by greatness.

Yeah maybe but only if they as a whole really want to which I doubt Bernie Leadon would. His life appears to be going in a different direction. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it but times have changed and everybody has gotten older. Not a bad thought though.
