Most of Don’s fans are aware by now that Don is an avid golfer, appearing in numerous charity tournaments in the USA and abroad and serving as host to the Howard Keel Golf Classic played annually outside of Manchester, UK. Don is particularly active in his support of organizations dedicated to the welfare of children and is very committed to helping out where he can. We estimate that Don’s probably played around 438,487 holes of benefit golf in the last 18 months.

When Don puts down the driver, he usually picks up a guitar. Or, he donates one (often his own) to a charitable cause.

Lot 25: Eagles Guitar Enthusiasts
“As a member of the Eagles (1974-2001), guitarist Don Felder gave a harder edge to the band and composed the music for their biggest hit “Hotel California.” On January 12th, 1998, Don along with the other 6 members (past and present) of the Eagles were inducted in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This new Fender “Squire” Stratocaster guitar autographed by the legendary Eagles guitarist Don Felder can be yours for your in-home music hall of fame. The signed sheet music from “Hotel California” is a great addition to your collection. Contributed by Don Felder. Value $Priceless.”

We agree. Don’s donation to their auction held on September 30th supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind was indeed priceless.
