Golden Heart Awards

Last night, Don and the band entertained at the Midnight Mission’s Golden Heart Awards in Los Angeles, helping support an organization which reaches out to the homeless and provides assistance in helping them return to economic and social self-sufficiency.

Niagara Tickets on Sale Friday

Tickets for Don’s August shows at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, ON, go on sale this Friday, May 11 at noon.

Don and his band will perform Thursday thru Friday, August 2, 3, & 4. Tickets start at $25 CAD and are available via Ticketmaster.

Don on Every Westjet Flight in May

Don graces the cover of Westjet’s inflight magazine “UP!” during the month of May.

If you don’t plan to fly Westjet, you can still get a glimpse of the cover via the photographer Chris Bolin’s blog. In the accompanying article, Don mentions the titles of two songs on this forthcoming album, “Heal Me” and “Fall from the Grace of Love,” which features harmonies from Crosby, Stills and Nash.

The issue should also be available online in the coming days.

Team Felder Virtual Rollout

Don and his new management team have begun a step-by-step virtual rollout of the man and his music.

We really like the fresh promotional images, which are already posted on his new Facebook fan page “donfeldermusic.” As far as we know, Don’s crew plans to phase out his present Facebook page in favor of the new one. Fans will be actively encouraged to re-like the new page, which will focus on tour dates, merchandise and, of course, the new album.

A updated official website is set to launch within the next few days.

Don and the Doobies in September

Don will appear with the Doobie Brothers on September 19th at the Western Washington Fair. Pre-sales (online/password only) have started and continue through April 27th, with general sales beginning on April 28th. A ticket to the concert includes admission to the fair, with grandstand seating starting at $25.

Ranked in the top ten largest fairs in the world, this year’s edition runs from September 7-23, and includes a top-notch concert series. The fairgrounds is located in the Seattle/Tacoma region, not far from Mount Rainer.

July Quebec Show Announced

Today, the Festival d’Ete de Quebec publicly announced their line up for this year’s event, with Bon Jovi, LMFAO, Sarah McLachlan and Aerosmith among the headliners.

The program runs from July 5-15 with performances scattered among stages in and around Quebec City. Don is scheduled to play the first show on Tuesday evening, July 10 at the event’s main venue, the Plaines d’Abraham, followed by French rock icon Johnny Hallyday. Now that’s what we call a unique billing.

The complete calendar is on line via the festival’s infofestival.com. Tens of thousands of passes go on advanced sale beginning April 26 at local city ticket outlets. Regular online and telephone sales start April 28. Detailed ticket info here.
