The Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, ON has now added three summer Don Felder shows on August 2, 3 & 4, 2012.

For the masochists who prefer Canadian winters, the venue has already publicized three Felder dates from February 9 thru 11, 2012.

Here’s today’s birthday boy soaking in the red carpet vibe at the South South Awards in New York on Monday via Getty and Wire Image. And while he was in the Big Apple, he visited ASCAP to clue them in on his upcoming solo album.

We wish him many rockin’ returns!

Don returns to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship taking place September 29-October 2 in Fife, Scotland. The prestigious Pro-Am tournament’s lineup will blow you away. Three of four 2011 major champions (Charl Schwarzel, Rory McIllroy and Darren Clarke) are set to compete as well as the current world #1 Luke Donald and #2 Lee Westwood.

Don can’t claim not to know his way around the St. Andrews, Kingsbarns or Carnoustie courses since he’s been playing in the event semi-regularly for about ten years. He missed last year’s tournament due to scheduling conflicts. This year he made sure nothing got in the way of what he calls, “Christmas and New Year’s all rolled into one.”

Don will be among the world-class musical entertainment, including Roberta Flack, Kenny G. and David Paich, which will be performing at the 2011 South-South Awards on September 19. The event will be held at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York city and broadcast live worldwide via satellite.

The awards recognize advancements and innovation brought about by governments, the United Nations and the private sector which support the Millenium Development Goal’s programs, such as improving women and children’s health standards.
