Henry Paul: Retrospective

If you’re a fan of Southern Rock or contemporary Country Music (or somewhere in between) then you definitely have to lend an ear to Henry Paul’s “Retrospective.” Henry is one of the legacy members of the Outlaws, which in the 70′s heyday of blues-rock and bluegrass guitar bands rode the southern rock trail along with big time acts such as the Charlie Daniels Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Marshall Tucker Band.

Listen to Henry tell you his amazing life story in his own voice, featuring his extensive, colorful recollections. Among them are the Outlaws’ arrival in L.A. in 1975 to record their debut album with the newly-created Arista label, their experiences while recording with legendary producer Bill Szymczyk at the Bayshore studios back in their home state of Florida (and hanging out with its cast of characters there including the Eagles and Joe Walsh), life on the road, his solo career, the birth of his Nashville band Blackhawk as well as the various break-ups and re-animations of one of America’s most underappreciated guitar-driven rock entities, the Outlaws.

Henry Paul is currently fronting the Outlaws as well as Blackhawk. Click here for both bands current tour schedules.
