Don’s in the U.K. this weekend, hosting the traditional Keel-Felder Golf Classic. As in the previous two years, the DeVere Carden Park Hotel and Golf Resort near Chester will stage the charity event on Sunday, September 6. The first foursomes hit the fairways early and don’t stop swinging until shortly before the cocktails, gala dinner, auction and entertainment top off the day’s festivities.

We hear legendary vocal artist Tony Christie is scheduled to return to the event this year, on the footsteps of his album “Made in Sheffield” which was released in late 2008. In addition, tenor Jon Christos and the Greg Morton Band will also be back to entertain.
