GCMF Renamed Fender Music Foundation

Championing Music Education

Give. Music. Life.

The Guitar Center Music Foundation, the independent non-profit organization dedicated to providing music education programs in the public schools, has been officially re-christened the Fender Music Foundation. Along with the name change, the foundation becomes an authorized licensee of Fender. It provides grants in the form of musical instruments and equipment.

Don has been a member of the Board of Directors for quite some time now. The Directors are supported by an Advisory Board stocked with personnel from the music business, including artists and industry professionals.

In addition to conventional funding through grants and donations, the Foundation also sells merchandise provided by many of the artists who support it, including items donated by Don: an autographed 1979 Eagles tour poster and a special edition personalized galley proof of his book.

Support the cause and help ensure music remains a focus of attention in our society and that it continues to make a difference in people’s lives.
