Stills Still a Gator

Don’s not the only one who’s been hanging out in the Sunshine State this week. Stephen Stills attended the dedication ceremony yesterday of the new University of Florida band’s reheasal building, which he helped fund. Stills grew up in Florida in the late 50′s and early 60′s and played in the Gainesville high school marching band. Readers of Don’s book Heaven and Hell know that Don and Stephen were both members of the Continentals, a hometown band, when they were in their teens.
